MI Android One - Specifications and Personal review.

Hello viewers, this post is specially regarding my personal review about the "Mi Android One". This device was released in India couple of weeks ago and is currently available via flash sales on Flipkart at INR  14,999/- . It is available in 3 colors like shown below (Black, Gold, Rose-Gold ).

This is the first device by Mi which is powered by Google. This device will be getting confirmed updates of Android Oreo and Android P (as per resources) and unlimited storage for photos.

2. 5.5 inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved Glass.
3. Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 Ghz.
4. 3080 Li-Polymer Battery.
5. Android Nougat 7.1.2, Stock Android.
6. Promised Updates of Android Oreo and Android P by GOOGLE.
7. Dual rear camera with 12MP + 12 MP for bokeh effect and 5 MP  front camera.
8. Dual Sim with Hybrid Sim Slot.
9. OTG Compatible .
10. Unlimited storage of photos on Google cloud.

Personal Review.

Its hardly two days I have been using this device and its providing me with very great output.
Here are some key features(Pros) which makes this device a special one.

• The touch response and feel on the curved glass is simply amazing.
• The screen provides you Extremely High level Brightness which is very useful in outdoor conditions.
• In-spite of a single speaker the volume level is very high and especially for music lovers there's a special audio-amplifier embedded in it that provides support for High-end Headphones.
• The Mi A1 is metallic and feels as a premium high-end device in hand and it somehow resembles the iphone 7+ and one plus 5.
• No over-heating at all .
• Amazing Day light photography. 
• Though the battery  looks low on-paper at this price-rate but the Snapdragon 625 chipset manages the battery quite well and gives a full day backup easily once fully charged.
• The device is Gadget friendly as it can be used to control various appliances like TV,AC'S, SET-TOP BOX etc. It is possible due to the IR blaster that is embedded at the top.

Few Cons :- 

• There is no NFC Support.
• Front camera is satisfactory for indoor conditions
• Device is very slippery from the back and you need to be extra-cautious and it is recommended to use a hard case or cover for a better grip.
• Non-removable battery.
• No headphones in the box.

In-spite of being priced at mid-range, the device feels very premium and performs very well on stock android !
