Hey folks! Today I want to share a valuable resource with you especially with people who wish to learn Android from basic level. Google had provided a separate course for beginners on a well known e-learning platform 'Udacity'.
If you don't have any knowledge about Android or any programming then just relax. All the contents right from installing Android Studio till developing a fully functional app will be taught here. Plus it is free of cost.
Well, it is self paced course means you can start it anytime and complete it. There is no time limit.
My personal experience:
When I started this course, I wasn't familiar even to Android setup and had no idea how an android app is been developed. But when I went through many modules, I was quite comfortable with Android Studio plus the instructors give their best effort to teach us.
We get to know more as we browse more tutorials. Plus a simple quiz is provided for better understanding. I am currently doing this course and found it more useful. If you take this course and complete it successfully then you will be able to develop any android app based on the basics.

Which topics will be taught?
- Introduction to Android Studio and learning basic layouts used for app development.
- Learning to display texts and images on app.
- Ways to make an app interactive by using a button.
- Debugging tricks.
- Management of data in application.
- Understanding Object Oriented concepts and using it in app development.
- Deep learning of Java programming and it's usage in Android development.
- Adding more UI components such as Checkbox and usage of conditional statements.
- Applying themes and style to make a better user interface.
