Hey folks ! Today's post is for the domain owners who are facing a small issue on their website and want to resolve it. Recently, we updated our domain but still website was unable to open and it was showing this error "This website is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later".
So to solve this issue I visited GoDadddy site for some solution. After visiting GoDaddy and many sites, I got to know the underlying cause of this error and its solution.
The issue was Google was unable to map the domain in database due to missing line i.e. ghs.google.com.
Let's go step by step to resolve this issue.
1. Sign in to your GoDaddy account and select "Visit My Account".
2. Go to My Products tab and select Manage button of Domain section.
3. Then click on Manage Connection.
4. A Forwarding and Masking box will pop up but ignore it and proceed. After that you will see 3 columns but you select DNS Zone File.
5. As you move downward the page, you will find CNAME Alias section. In that go to www row and edit it by clicking the icon on right side of row.
6. After clicking the edit icon, a box will pop up showing up the settings, then type ghs.google.com in Points To section and click on Finish.
That's it ! Issue resolved. It will take around 1 hour to start displaying web pages.
This was all about the issue and its necessary to add the missing statement for Google to find your web pages.
