GCFLearnFree: Get knowledge for free!

Hey hello everybody ! Every person wish to gain valuable knowledge at possible low cost or for free!
So to make this possible I am going to introduce a new learning resource which is going to be much productive in one's life.

So from the title you might have got the idea of this site. This site is known as GCFLearnFree which provides each and every tutorial for absolutely free of cost. So let me take you on a tour of GCFLearnFree.

Let's get started with the sections of it :

• Online classes

In this section, you will be introduced with the online courses which are available on this site. Currently, courses on Microsoft Office 2010 and 2013 are available. Microsoft Office courses includes Word, Excel, Excel Formulas, Powerpoint and Access are available. After successfully completing any one of the course, you will be awarded with a verified IACET (International Association for Continuing Education and Training) certificate for free of cost. You only need to complete those assignments with good grade. Later then this verified certificate is all yours !

• Technology

When you enter this section, you will be amazed with interesting topics. This section is classified into many sub sections.

Nowadays, we use many tools in our daily life but here you will get to learn more about this tools. Topics such as Computer skills, email 101 and Gmail will be available to you. You will get to learn the Internet basics such as Chrome, Internet tips, Internet Safety, Internet 101, etc will be taught. 

If you want to learn any of the operating system, then this is the right place for you. A tutorial on Operating system will also be made available. Lectures on Linux OS, Mac OS and Windows OS will be taught. As you go through this section of operating system, you will explore evolution of every operating system. For example. if you select Mac OS then you will learn about its versions such as OS X El Capitan, Yosemite, Mavericks, Mountain Lion and Lion.

Next we will come on device section. Here you will learn about various devices such as Android, iPad, iPhone, tips on devices, buying guide. Then if you want to improve your surfing skills, a tutorial on this is also available. Some tech tips and tricks are also made available to you. 

Most of the people are interested in photography. That's why a course on Digital Photography, Image Editing 101 and photoshop basics are present. An overview on Social media will be given in Social media section. Topics included in this section are blog basis, facebook 101, Wordpress resources, etc.

Later then we move on to the Cloud section. Here you will get to know all about the cloud technologies. A short overview on Google account, Docs, Drive, Maps, Sheets and some tips will be given. Then all about Microsoft account, OneDrive and Office online, Sharepoint resources will be taught to you. 

This was all about Technology section. 

• Reading and Mathematics

Here you will explore about reading skills, grammer, english speaking skills which might help you to converse with people and it might boost your career as you will develop your presentation skills too. 

Now next is the maths section. Maths section will introduce you to the basic topic such as fractions, decimals, percents and algebra.

• Work and Career

After learning so much things, everyone expects to get a high paying or a good job. Therefore, this section includes all the materials you need to start your career. Let's begin with its topics. A short introduction on career planning will be given. Then resume writing, interviewing skills, job searching will be taught to you. To achieve success in workplace, lectures on job success, communication skills will be taught. 

So this section is fully dedicated to improve your career by applying some specific skills.

My personal opinion

I had personally accessed some of the courses and founded it really very useful. I have got verified certificate from IACET on completion of Excel 2010. The courses were much user friendly and quizzes were interesting. As these courses are self paced, you can access it at any time. I highly recommend this site for you. You will always be benefited with such knowledge in future.
